This version of the classic Mediterranean storage jar would have been buried in the ground to keep olives cool. Hand-crafted terracotta pottery from the 19th century. None-glazed, natural finish. Each jar is vintage and bears individual marks of use and history. Size, finish & color vary. Metal stand included.
